IPad is thin and large, It has little to none support structure in the inside to prevent bending if you have it rumbling around with a bunch of books or sitting over it it will bend for sure, if you plan on taking it on your backpack with other items even if there is breathing room the smartest thing to do is getting a hard independent case such as Procase portfolio or tomtoc portfolio which are basically the same rigid portfolio ipad sized with a couple extra bags for the pencil and cables, don't fill it with the charger or anything that can cause pressure with the iPad since you can cause damage to the device, the reason for this kind of portfolios is to leave the iPad inside so you can drop the portfolio inside your backpack and not worry that lthe iPad will suffer damage since the portfolio is hard enough to prevent it.So, if you prefer keeping the MacBook plugged in all the time for convenience, it would be a better option to limit the charging to between 65 and 80 percent using the methods given below. The iPad won't bend by itself and whoever tells you they had their own bent out of nowhere is lieing. Got the iPad pro 11" 2020 on release date, I'm a civil engineer so I bring it with me when I'm deployed, the environment where I use my ipad is often harsh, it hasn't bent yet. ![]()
